Like a lot of South Africans, my love for nature and the general outdoors came about as a result of an exposure to it from a very early age. Be it through family camping trips, hiking excursions, fly-fishing expeditions, or getaways to either the Pilansberg or Kruger National Parks, my interest in all things nature dates back as far as I can remember.
Many years later, and after completing a postgraduate honors degree in Business Administration at the WITS Business School in Johannesburg, I began a corporate career as an Account Manager at a large multi-national IT firm. Although I gained a lot of experience in a short space of time being exposed to a multitude of different industries, I was inherently unhappy. It didn't take me long to realize that I needed to fulfill a burning desire to follow my passion for the African bush, and wildlife photography.
My journey began at Londolozi Private Game Reserve where I started out as a photographic guide. Over the year and a half that I was at Londolozi, my passion for people, and wildlife photography grew exponentially. The progression to Wild-Eye where I joined the team as a Specialist Safari Guide and Wildlife Photographer was a natural step for me. I continue to explore wild places on the beautiful continent of Africa where I share my passion for nature and wildlife photography with many others from around the world.
